Shannon Peavy is the most recent addition to Windy Knoll Farm.  As an associate trainer, Shannon specializes in starting young horses as well as working with problem and complicated horses.  Although starting and finishing barrel horses is her focus, Shannon has trained many successful horses and riders as well.

With 25 years of riding and competition experience in western pleasure, hunter, jumping, barrel racing and most recently dressage, Shannon has incorporated this diversity into her training techniques building a strong foundation in the horse from the ground up using trust and softness for over 10 years.

Being very competitive in barrel racing, Shannon holds a WPRA (Women’s Professional Rodeo Association) card as well as several other national, state, and local barrel-racing associations.  

Shannon is currently taking horses for training at Windy Knoll Farm.
